In these terms, Ventorix Services Kft. is referred to as the "Seller" and the person buying in the online shop as the "Buyer".
2. General provisions
2.1. These Terms and Conditions set out the conditions of purchase in the fhic.hu online shop operated by the Seller (the "Online Shop").
2.2. The contract is governed by Hungarian law, in particular:
- Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code,
- Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce services,
- Act CLV of 1997 on consumer protection,
- Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses,
- Government Decree 373/2021 (VI. 30.) on certain aspects of contracts between consumers and businesses for the sale of goods and the supply of digital content and digital services,
- Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) on mandatory warranty,
- Decree 19/2014 (IV. 29.) NGM on the procedural rules for handling warranty and guarantee claims.
2.3. A consumer is a natural person acting outside the scope of their profession, independent occupation or business. Consumer rights (such as the right of withdrawal) apply only to Buyers who qualify as consumers.
2.4. The contract is concluded in Hungarian and in electronic form. It does not qualify as a written contract, is not filed by the Seller and cannot be accessed afterwards. The Seller has not submitted to any code of conduct.
2.5. The Online Shop delivers to addresses in Hungary. Buyers from other European Union member states may also purchase, provided the delivery address is in Hungary.
2.6. The Seller may amend these Terms and Conditions. Amendments apply to orders placed after they take effect. Each order is governed by the Terms and Conditions in force when it was placed.
3. Products and prices
3.1. The Online Shop sells heated vests, hand warmers, power banks and accessories. The main features, sizes and prices of the products are shown on the product pages. Product images are for illustration; colours may vary slightly depending on the display.
3.2. Heated vests require a power bank to operate. The power bank is not included with the vest and can be purchased as a separate product. This is also stated on the product page.
3.3. The vests have a custom cut. Please check the size chart on the product page before ordering.
3.4. Prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF). The Seller is exempt from VAT under the small business exemption, so prices do not include VAT. The product price does not include the delivery fee or the cash-on-delivery fee; these are set out in Section 6 and on the checkout page.
3.5. When a price is reduced, the Seller shows as the previous price the lowest price it applied in the 30 days before the reduction.
3.6. If an obviously incorrect price appears in the Online Shop (for example HUF 0, or a price grossly different from the market price), the Seller is not obliged to sell the product at the incorrect price. In such cases the Seller offers delivery at the correct price, which the Buyer may accept, or the Buyer may cancel the order.
4. How to order
4.1. Purchases can be made without registration. User accounts are available only to the Seller's business and affiliate partners under a separate agreement.
4.2. Ordering steps:
- On the product page, choose the size or variant and the quantity, then click "Add to cart".
- Check the products in the cart, then proceed to checkout.
- Enter your billing and delivery details, e-mail address and phone number.
- Choose the delivery and payment method.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.
- Submit the order with the "Order with obligation to pay" button.
4.3. Before submitting the order, the Buyer can check and correct the data entered at any time and change the contents of the cart. The Seller is not liable for delays or failed delivery resulting from incorrect data.
4.4. After the order is submitted, the Online Shop sends an automatic e-mail confirming receipt of the order. This e-mail does not mean that the order has been accepted. The contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order in a separate e-mail or dispatches the product.
4.5. If the automatic confirmation e-mail does not arrive within 48 hours of submitting the order, the Buyer is released from their offer. In that case, please also check your spam folder or contact us.
5. Payment methods
5.1. Cash on delivery. The purchase price is paid on receipt of the parcel to the courier or at the pick-up point, in cash or by bank card (depending on the options offered by the courier or pick-up point). The cash-on-delivery fee is HUF 500, payable in addition to the delivery fee.
5.2. Online card payment. Payment is made on the secure payment interface of Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland). The Seller does not receive the Buyer's card details.
5.3. Google Pay and Apple Pay. Payment is made through Stripe with the card stored on the Buyer's mobile device.
5.4. Invoice. The Seller issues an electronic invoice for the purchase and sends it to the Buyer by e-mail. Invoices are issued with the Billingo online invoicing software.
6. Delivery
6.1. Logistics partner. The Seller dispatches parcels through the logistics service of Kvikk.hu Kft. (Béke u. 43., 3264 Kisnána, Hungary). At checkout, the Buyer can choose from the couriers contracted by Kvikk. These are currently GLS, MPL (Hungarian Post), Packeta, Foxpost, DPD and FámaFutár. The checkout page always shows the delivery methods currently available.
6.2. Delivery methods and fees:
| Delivery method | Fee |
| Home delivery by courier | HUF 1,000 |
| Pick-up point (e.g. PostaPont, MOL PostaPont, Packeta Z-Point, parcel point) | HUF 1,000 |
| Parcel locker (e.g. MPL parcel locker, Packeta Z-BOX, Foxpost, GLS locker) | HUF 1,000 |
| Cash-on-delivery fee (in addition to the delivery fee) | HUF 500 |
Delivery is free for orders over HUF 19,995. The cash-on-delivery fee is separate from the delivery fee and is therefore payable even when delivery is free. The maximum parcel weight for pick-up points and parcel lockers is 20 kg.
6.3. Delivery time. The Seller fulfils orders within no more than 5 working days of confirmation, and typically within 1–3 working days for products in stock. If the Seller misses the deadline, the Buyer may set a reasonable additional deadline. If the Seller does not deliver within the additional deadline, the Buyer may withdraw from the contract. If delivery is not possible for any reason, the Seller notifies the Buyer without delay and refunds any amount already paid.
6.4. Receipt. Please check that the parcel is intact on receipt. If the parcel is damaged, ask the courier to record it in a report, or refuse to accept it.
6.5. Failed delivery. If the Buyer does not collect the parcel, and this is not an exercise of the right of withdrawal, the Seller may claim the cost of delivery and return from the Buyer. The fee for re-delivery is borne by the Buyer. If the Buyer has previously failed to collect an order, the Seller may require advance payment for further orders.
7. Right of withdrawal
7.1. A Buyer who qualifies as a consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 20 days of receiving the product. This is more favourable than the 14 days required by law. The withdrawal period starts on the day the Buyer, or a person designated by the Buyer (other than the carrier), receives the product. If several products are delivered separately, the period starts on the day the last product is received.
7.2. The Buyer may also exercise the right of withdrawal between the conclusion of the contract and receipt of the product.
7.3. How to withdraw. There are two ways:
- Using the online withdrawal function. Click the "Withdraw from contract" button, available in the footer of every page of the Online Shop. Enter your name, order number and the e-mail address where you would like to receive the confirmation, then click the "Confirm withdrawal" button. The Seller confirms receipt of the withdrawal by e-mail without delay, stating its content, date and time. The function can be used without logging in.
- By a statement. Send an unambiguous statement by e-mail (info@fhic.hu) or by post (Hóvirág utca 2., 2457 Adony, Hungary). You may use the model withdrawal form in Annex 1, but this is not mandatory.
7.4. The withdrawal period is met if the Buyer sends the statement before the period expires. When withdrawing by statement, the burden of proving withdrawal lies with the Buyer.
7.5. Returning the product. The Buyer must send back or hand over the product within 14 days of notifying the withdrawal, to the Seller's address: Hóvirág utca 2., 2457 Adony, Hungary. The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the Buyer. The Seller cannot accept parcels sent cash on delivery.
7.6. Refund. The Seller refunds the full amount paid by the Buyer, including the original delivery fee, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal. If the Buyer chose a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard method, the difference does not have to be refunded. The refund is made using the original payment method unless the Buyer expressly agrees to another method; the Buyer incurs no extra cost as a result. For cash-on-delivery payments, the refund is made by bank transfer, for which we will ask for the bank account number. The Seller is not liable for delays caused by an incorrect bank account number provided by the Buyer. The Seller may withhold the refund until it has received the product back or the Buyer has provided proof of return, whichever is earlier.
7.7. The Buyer is liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. You may try on and inspect the product as you would in a shop.
8. Warranty for defects (kellékszavatosság)
When can you claim? If the Seller's performance is defective, you may make a warranty claim against the Seller under the Civil Code and Government Decree 373/2021 (VI. 30.).
What are your rights? At your choice, you may request repair or replacement, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or would cause the Seller a disproportionate additional cost compared with the other remedy. If you did not or could not request repair or replacement, you may request a proportionate price reduction or, as a last resort, withdraw from the contract. Withdrawal is not possible for an insignificant defect. Before repair or replacement, the Seller informs you of the options available.
Within what period? You must report the defect without delay after discovering it. Warranty rights cannot be enforced after two years from delivery of the product. If you request repair and the product is repaired, the warranty period is extended once by 12 months (for contracts concluded after 31 July 2026).
Under what conditions? Within one year of delivery, there is no condition for a warranty claim other than reporting the defect, provided you can show that you bought the product from the Seller (for example with the invoice). In that case the Seller is released only if it proves that the defect arose after delivery. After one year, you must prove that the defect already existed at the time of delivery.
9. Product liability (termékszavatosság)
When can you claim? In the case of a defect in a movable item, you may choose to make either a warranty claim or a product liability claim. You cannot make both for the same defect at the same time.
What are your rights? Under product liability, you may only request repair or replacement of the defective product.
When is a product defective? If it does not meet the quality requirements in force when it was placed on the market, or does not have the properties described by the manufacturer.
Within what period? Within two years from when the manufacturer placed the product on the market. After this period the right lapses.
Against whom? Against the manufacturer or distributor of the product. You must prove the defect. The manufacturer is released only if it proves that it did not manufacture or place the product on the market in the course of its business, that the defect could not be detected according to the state of science and technology when the product was placed on the market, or that the defect results from applying a law or mandatory regulatory requirement.
10. Guarantee (jótállás)
10.1. The products sold in the Online Shop fall within the scope of Decree 10/2024 (VI. 28.) IM listing durable consumer goods subject to mandatory guarantee. The Seller provides the mandatory guarantee for them under Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.). The guarantee period depends on the selling price:
| Selling price | Guarantee period |
| HUF 10,000 to HUF 250,000 | 2 years |
| Over HUF 250,000 | 3 years |
The guarantee period starts on the day the product is delivered. The Seller provides the guarantee card to the Buyer electronically. A sample guarantee card is also available in the footer of the Online Shop.
10.2. If the Buyer requests replacement due to a defect within three working days of receipt, the Seller replaces the product, provided the defect prevents its intended use.
10.3. The Seller is released from its guarantee obligation only if it proves that the cause of the defect arose after delivery (for example improper use, overcharging, failure to follow the washing instructions, or accident).
10.4. The guarantee does not affect the Buyer's statutory rights, including warranty and product liability rights.
10.5. The statutory "harmonised notice" on guarantee and warranty rules is available in the footer of the Online Shop.
11. Complaints and remedies
11.1. The Buyer may submit complaints about the product or the Seller's activities:
- by e-mail: info@fhic.hu,
- by phone: +36 20 216 4040,
- by post: Hóvirág utca 2., 2457 Adony, Hungary.
11.2. The Seller examines and remedies oral (telephone) complaints immediately where possible. If this is not possible, or the Buyer disagrees with how the complaint was handled, the Seller records the complaint in a written report. The report must include the Buyer's name and home address or electronic contact details. If the Buyer does not provide these details and the report therefore cannot be completed in full, the Seller is released from the obligation to handle the complaint in writing.
11.3. The Seller replies to written complaints in writing and on the merits within 30 days of receipt. If the complaint is rejected, the Seller gives its reasons. The Seller confirms receipt of complaints submitted by e-mail electronically and without delay.
11.4. The Seller keeps the complaint report, the written complaint and a copy of its reply for three years.
11.5. If the complaint cannot be resolved, the Buyer has the following options:
- Consumer protection authority. You may file a complaint with the consumer protection authority competent for your place of residence. Information on the competent authorities is available on the website of the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority (nkfh.gov.hu).
- Conciliation board. You may turn to a conciliation board for out-of-court settlement of a consumer dispute, free of charge. The board competent for the Seller's registered office is the Fejér County Conciliation Board (Fejér Megyei Békéltető Testület), Hosszúsétatér 4–6., 8000 Székesfehérvár, Hungary; postal address: Pf. 357, 8050 Székesfehérvár; phone: +36 22 510 310; e-mail: bekeltetes@fmkik.hu; website: bekeltetesfejer.hu. You may also turn to the conciliation board competent for your place of residence. The Seller is obliged to cooperate in conciliation board proceedings.
- Court. You may also enforce your claim in court under the rules of civil procedure.
12. Batteries and electronic waste
The heated products and power banks contain rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of them with household waste at the end of their life. You can hand in waste devices and batteries free of charge at MOHU waste yards and at collection points for electronic waste and batteries. The Seller takes back, free of charge at its registered office (Hóvirág utca 2., 2457 Adony, Hungary), waste devices of the same type as the product purchased from it, as well as batteries.
13. Copyright
The content of the Online Shop (texts, photographs, graphics, logos) is protected by copyright. It may not be copied or used without the Seller's prior written permission.
14. Final provisions
14.1. Information on the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Notice: https://fhic.hu/en/privacy-notice/
14.2. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid, this does not affect the validity of the other provisions.
14.3. Matters not covered by these Terms and Conditions are governed by Hungarian law, in particular the Civil Code.
